My name is Karin Mai Mori. On this blog, I'll be blogging about my favorite topic: BOOKS - I love reading them, owning them, and occasionally smelling them (strange, I know). I'll put up recommendations for books, what I'm reading, and what I'm going to read. I'll try to put up some book reviews if I have time and the patience.

Here’s a list of books that I think everyone should read. Feel free to comment about how much you love them or about how much you hate me for making you waste your time. Either way is fine. =D
The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins - It’ll be one of the best series you have ever read. As a whole I give them a 5/5.
The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros - I love Cisneros’ writing style, especially in this vignette book. I give it a 4.5/5.
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini - A sad book, yes. But a very good sad book that addresses the social issues in Afghanistan during the 1990s. A 5/5 book.
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini - An even sadder story than The Kite Runner if that’s possible. But still, I give it a 5/5.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee - Not only is it a classic but you might have to read this book in school at some point. Mine as well read it now. I give it a 4/5.
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn - A story about a girl growing up in Brooklyn trying to become someone. Need I say more? 5/5
The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton - A book people can relate to even though it was written many years before (I don’t know the exact number because I forgot and I don’t feel like looking it up right now…so lazy). 4.5/5
Percy Jackson and the Olympians series - It’s no Harry Potter but it’s pretty darn close. 4/5
Anything by Sarah Dessen, John Green and J.K. Rowling - They’re great authors who have written excellent books.
If I think of any other book that I forgot I’ll add it later. I’ll also add more books if I read anything that’s a 4/5 or above.
